I created this illustration for mobile games developer Tether Studios as the banner to their new web site. Tether creates small, fun, competitive games that you can play against others and win money, so they goal here was to draw characters that conveyed the fun and winning aspect of the games. The image was created with parts of it in different layers and sections of it tileable and repeatable so that it works both on a phone and one a wide desktop browser. The background had to be detailed but not so much so that would interfere with text on top of it. You can see it in situ at www.tetherstudios.com.
