Most months, I enjoy taking part in the Character Design Challenge on Facebook: They provide a theme and artists do their best to create a character design to match. It's great practice and I've produced a number of terrific pieces through my participation. Here are some of them.

Gandalf the Grey.

Hansel & Gretel's witch, using her gingerbread for other inventions.

Ganesha commuting. (Ganesha was said to have ridden on a mouse.)

Jet Black, from Cowboy Bebop.

Skateboarding Cholita.

A Kasha, a type of Japanese bake-neko, or "monster cat." The Kasha were known to invade funerals, leaping down from the rooftops to steal corpses which they would eat.

Delivery Orc

Marvel's Squirrel Girl
